About Us

The Canzona Chamber Players concert series is 19 years old and was started by Jacob Stoller and Jonathan Krehm. Currently it is run by Roger Sharp and Jonathan Krehm. We exist and thrive because of the enthusiastic support of the St. Andrew by the Lake Congregation and our loyal audience of Toronto Islanders. In 2012 we added a second performance of our concerts in downtown Toronto.

Our Island performances are held on Sunday afternoons after an optional catered brunch at St. Andrew by the Lake . Our second performances in the city are held at St. George the Martyr Anglican Church at 197 John St (just south of the Grange Park).

We had planned a spectacular line up for the 2019-2020 Canzona Series. The gifted performers featured have travelled the globe as concert masters, Juno-award winners, and in demand touring musicians. We'd like to thank you, our wonderful audience – who make our series a special and welcoming place for Chamber musicians to present the music they so love. We hope to resume our live concerts soon, but in the mean time please subscribe to our YouTube Channel for past concert footage and livestreams beginning May 3rd, 2020 with solo cellist Winona Zelenka!

Thank-you,

Jonathan Krehm and the Canzona Chamber Players Team
